Effective date: 6 October 2026
These terms cover your use of the Google Docs™ add-on “Pleading Paper & Caption Builder” (the add-on). By installing or using the add-on, you accept them.
The add-on formats a Google Docs document as pleading paper and inserts a court caption. It is a formatting tool. It is free.
The add-on does not give legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. Court rules differ by court and change over time. You are responsible for checking that your filing meets the rules of the court you file in, including line count, margins, fonts, caption content and footer requirements. Check the printed or PDF result before you file.
Your documents and the details you type stay yours. The add-on works only inside the document you have open; see the privacy policy.
The add-on is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The developer does not promise that it will be error-free or that it will work with every document, browser or future version of Google Docs.
To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, filings, deadlines or fees, arising from your use of the add-on. Keep a copy of important documents before you change them.
The developer may update, change or stop offering the add-on at any time. If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
